My Story
a passion for drumming
Since the age of 4 when I received my first drum, a Djembe from Togo in West Africa, the drums have been my life. Gradually my skills transferred to the drum set, and after high school I was blessed with the opportunity to study drums at Berklee College of Music. I graduated with a Degree is Drum- Set Performance and a Degree in Music Business Entrepreneurship. After several years of working for other companies as a teacher I started Free Flow Drumming as a way to continue my dreams of drumming and teaching. My goal is to create a community of students who love the drums as much as I do. For me, music is a never ending cycle of discovery and evolution as we hone our physical abilities and expand our listening. Teaching allows me to combine my passion for mentoring with a fervent effort to understand the drums better. As a teacher I have never stopped being a student.
